Welcome to Glory Creates!

Welcome to Glory Creates, a painting business founded in 2022 by Jordan Cross, in which she paints images inspired by the Holy Spirit for the Glory of God.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do all the good things He planned for us long ago - Ephesians 2:10

Follow Me

“In 2021, Follow Me came to me by revelation from the Holy Spirit. I internally saw the Lord Jesus walking with His 12 apostles in the sunrise on their way to heal the sick, preach to the poor, and cure the lepers. This painting was prophetic to me because it let me know that no matter who is for me or who is against me, He is always saying “Follow Me”. When the times get rough, when the friends get thin, He says “Follow Me”. Not only in actions but in words, in character, in truth, in love.”

The Proverbs 31 Woman

“My best friend asked if I could paint something with this Scripture for her. I prayed and thought and the colors, pink and green came to mind. At the time, I didn’t know those were her favorite colors. She had just graduated from college as Valedictorian in her class of 2020 at Virginia State. This was a gift from me to her. Congratulations, Jneva. You did it, girl!”

May 21st

May 21st, 2017 was the day I met Jesus on the alter of my grandfather’s church in Hopewell, VA. It was the most beautiful & powerful day! I was finally reunited with my Lord, my King, my Father.”

You Are More Valuable

“You Are More Valuable came to me when I was in a dark place in my life. Holy Spirit gave me the vision for this painting but I was so unmotivated I didn’t start until hours later. He gave me victory that day to overcome. This painting reminds me that God sees me and knows the troubles I face so I don’t have to be discouraged or afraid. He is here. He is El Roi.”

You Are Mine

“In the summer of 2020, I was dealing with many mental issues that caused me to stress a lot. I tried to paint something on this small canvas, but the stress was too much and out of that, I ended up accidentally making a grey, blue and yellow abstract piece. I left it alone for days. After a while, every time I looked at it, I saw the word ‘Abba’ (meaning, Father) on it and I knew God was speaking to me. He was saying You Are Mine.

Serenity & Faith

“I actually started this painting two years before finishing it in 2023. I started it because I felt the psalmist’s words in Psalm 42 saying ‘As the deer panteth after the water brooks, So panteth my soul after Thee, O God’ I stopped when I didn’t know how to finish the sky. But the Lord led me back to it and through it. I had Serenity while painting it and used Faith to finish it.”

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Somewhere Over the Rainbow there lies a promise waiting for you. Waiting for you to reach it, to attain it by faith. Don’t stop believing because of the misfortunes of this world and the negative people around you. Believe God. Trust God as Abraham did and God will see you through to the best life He has for you. Don’t settle for the black and white areas in your heart but ask God to fill your heart with the colors He has. The colors He is.”

You Chose Me

“I was in prayer one day, crying, and I started reminiscing on high school and college when there would be an event or party and if there was food, you could count of people to be there! They’d choose food over anything! So I said unto the Lord ‘People would choose food over anything but You… You chose me over everything' ”

To My Mother

“To My Mother, Mom, you are absolutely amazing. There is no one on earth I would trade you for. You have always made sacrifices for us and even now, continue to do so. I love you with all my heart. Love, Your Daughter.”

Clothed in Strength and Dignity

Clothed in Strength and Dignity was created for a friend from high school who blessed me to receive a free gift of my first baby grand piano in my home. She connected me to the family who was giving it away! I was overjoyed and offered her a painting of her choice. This is what she choose. Thank you, Deanndra! Love you, girl!”

Love God, Love People Always

Love God, Love People Always was inspired by a song by Danny Gokey entitled ‘Love God Love People’ and I had a good friend who absolutely loved that song so I gave him this painting for Christmas in 2021.”

Be Still & Know That I Am God

Be Still & Know was one of my first 8 x 10 inch canvas paintings in 2020. Every time I looked at the empty space above my window, I’d see a vision of a gray painting with white clouds and it reads Be Still and Know that I am God.

On This Day

On This Day was made along with an originally written love song for my grandparents’ on their 63rd anniversary in May 2021. On May 30th,1958, the two lovebirds made their vows to each other at 11:00pm due my grandfather’s dad preaching late somewhere. They waited for him. They have 3 children, 7 grands, and 3 great grands so far and are now 85 years of age. I love you, Papa & Granny.”
